What is PG optical grinding

PG Optical Curve Grinding is mainly used for finishing some micro products. It is used to process key parts in precision equipment such as dies. It is suitable for molding and grinding of high-hardness materials. It is an ultra-precision processing equipment. The optical curve grinder can grind holes with high hole spacing accuracy and various contour shapes.

PG optical grinding is a precision processing method generally used in high-speed mold parts. Processing high-precision workpieces and some high-speed steel workpieces, such as 88-90 degree tungsten steel or carbide materials.

The parts processed by PG optical grinding have high durability and long life. The processing accuracy is within 0.002. The minimum internal R angle processed is R0.03mm and the external R angle is R0.02mm. The thinnest part of the special-shaped punch can reach 0.06 mm, the depth-to-diameter ratio of the processed groove is about 2:1, and the surface roughness Ra can reach 0.025μm. Suitable for various thin connectors, stators and rotors, plug-ins, silicon steel sheets and other stamping molds and mold inserts.
